Assistant golf pro gets all-time break on 'The Price Is Right' by getting to play putting game
Things have to break your way if you want to be a contestant on "The Price Is Right," but the stars have never quite aligned so perfectly on the game show as they did for one golf pro.
Travis Britt, an assistant pro at Brentwood Country Club, got the coveted "COME ON DOWN" call. And then things got even better.
After earning his way onto the stage with host Drew Carey, Britt found out he would be playing a putting game called Hole-in-One. For "A NEW CAR!" Talk about an all-time break! And it went exactly as you'd imagine.
Thanks to Ryan French, AKA Monday Q Info on Twitter, for sharing the show's clip of the segment. Have a look:
Nice job, Travis. Hey, when you get a break in golf, you still have to convert and that's what he did. And he must have still been feeling a lot of pressure not to screw up that three-footer. Also, we see you, Drew! You have a nice putting stroke yourself!
Anyway, if you're a Brentwood member and you see Travis pulling up in his new whip, congratulate him. And then ask him for a putting lesson.
