It really has the looks of a game-improvement iron in terms of thickness of the top edge and the way it sits at address. That being said, it's shaped nicely. You can really feel the ball being compressed off the face. This launches like a rocket—it just keeps going and going. My concern is actually that it's too hot.

I definitely get a lot of feedback on off-center hits, both sound and feel. You can definitely tell if you mis-hit it. The amazing thing is the performance doesn't suffer too much on off-center hits. Getting good distance. It's a pretty robust head, so the ball goes. It has a little under the hood, it seems. If you're looking for results, this is a decent choice.

I like the thickness and topline, but for some reason, the wedge and 7-iron looked a touch off. It's a personal thing. The 5-iron look promotes confidence, amplified by the shots that come off of it.
