Want to see Cypress Point Club up close? Now's your chance with the Walker Cup ticket lottery

Most golfers will never have the opportunity to play Cypress Point, one of the best and most exclusive courses in the world. But they will have a chance to see the course up close at the 50th Walker Cup Sept. 5-7. Ticket applications are now being accepted.

“To equitably address the demand for tickets and ensure fair distribution,” a USGA news release notes, “all single day public tickets will be fulfilled through a random selection process. The ticket application will remain open until Friday, April 18.”

Pricing is $200 for day one and $200 for day two. A practice round ticket for Sept. 5 is $100. “Each adult applicant may apply for up to four tickets per day and will have the option to apply for up to two complimentary junior (17 years old and under) tickets per day, which will also be determined via random selection,” the USGA noted.
